About The Position

We’re seeking a driven and curious Product Data Analyst to join our growing Product Analytics team. Reporting to the Director of Product Analytics, you’ll play a key role in helping product teams make informed, data-driven decisions. You’ll partner closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to analyze user behavior, monitor product performance, and deliver insights that shape the direction of our products.


In this role, you will:

  • Support the Director of Product Analytics in delivering high-impact insights to product and business teams
  • Analyze user behavior, feature usage, and engagement trends across the product
  • Build and maintain dashboards and recurring reports to track product performance
  • Collaborate with product managers to define success metrics and measure feature impact
  • Assist in the design and evaluation of A/B tests and product experiments
  • Help ensure accurate and consistent event tracking in collaboration with engineering
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis to answer critical product questions and inform roadmap decisions
  • Contribute to building scalable data tools and self-serve resources for product teams

This is a full-time remote position, reporting to the Director of Product Analytics


Responsibilities

  • Translate product questions and hypotheses into analytical plans
  • Deliver data-driven recommendations to improve user experience and product outcomes
  • Maintain and enhance existing product dashboards and reports
  • Monitor product KPIs and alert teams to significant changes or anomalies
  • Work with the analytics team to ensure consistent metrics definitions and reporting practices
  • Document methodologies and promote best practices across the product organization
  • Partner with the Director of Product Analytics to support strategic product initiatives


Skills & Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science) or equivalent practical experience
  • 1–3+ years in an analytics, data science, or product analytics role (experience in SaaS or tech is a plus)
  • Proficient in SQL with experience analyzing large and complex data sets
  • Familiar with product analytics tools (e.g., Pendo, Heap, or similar)
  • Experience with dashboarding tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
  • Solid understanding of experimentation design, A/B testing, and statistical significance
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present data clearly and concisely
  • A collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn from teammates and stakeholders
  • Bonus: familiarity with Python, R, dbt, or data modeling concepts
