Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Solutions Architect to work directly with startup clients to identify their technical needs, scope project requirements, design solutions, and lead projects while managing small development teams. This role offers a fun and constantly changing work environment as you'll be working across multiple clients with diverse business challenges.

Responsibilities:

• Consult with startup clients to understand their business challenges and technical requirements.
  

• Conduct needs assessments and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  

• Design scalable, cost-effective architectures aligned with client business goals.
  

• Develop detailed project scopes, timelines, and resource requirements.
  

• Lead projects and manage small development teams through the entire implementation process.
  

• Provide technical mentorship and direction to team members.
  

• Ensure solutions are built for scalability, security, and maintainability.
  

• Leverage startup experience to provide value-added insights and recommendations.
  

• Help clients prioritize features based on their business stage and market needs.
  

• Collaborate with account managers and project managers to ensure successful delivery.
  

• Leverage AI tools for rapid prototyping and solution development.
  

• Stay up to date with emerging technologies to provide innovative recommendations.
  

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software architecture or solutions architecture.
  

• Proven experience working with startups to assess needs and architect solutions.
  

• Strong technical background with expertise in software architecture and system design.
  

• Strong product mindset with ability to understand market needs and business objectives.
  

• Outstanding problem-solving abilities for addressing complex client challenges.
  

• Experience with AI tools for rapid prototyping and solution development.
  

• Experience setting up cloud deployments and managing cloud resources..
  

• Experience translating business requirements into technical specifications.
  

• Ability to scope and plan projects with realistic timelines.
  

• Excellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  

• Experience leading development teams and guiding technical implementation
  

• Understanding of unique challenges faced by startups
  

• Adaptability to work across various technologies and business domains
  

• Experience with some of the following technologies:
  

• Backend: .NET, Node.js
  

• Frontend: Blazor, React, Vue, etc.
  

• Database: MS SQL, PostgreSQL
  

• Cloud & DevOps: Azure, AWS
