The Role
The Technical Program Manager is a critical role within the new Go To Market (GTM) and Customer Product Adoption team, reporting directly to the Sr. Director of Customer Product Adoption. This role is responsible for overseeing the technical requirements of the Customer Product Adoption team to support bringing products or services to market. This role requires a blend of technical acumen, leadership skills, and business understanding to drive best-in-class program launches working on cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery of technical sales assets. The Technical Program Manager will ensure that all migration programs are executed efficiently, effectively, and in alignment with Lumen’s strategic objectives.

The Main Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business and technology leaders to align product migration strategies with revenue goals.
- Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams to drive clarity and alignment across the customer product adoption process.
- Analyzing existing GTM operations to identify technical blockers, bottlenecks and inefficiencies in adoption motions.
- Design and implement process improvements to streamline workflows and increase productivity.
- Partner with leadership and cross-functional partners to help design, shape, launch, and manage goals for Lumen’s Customer Migration Factory.
- Support customer validation, market segmentation, and competitive technical analysis to refine migration strategies.
- Interface with leadership act as a sounding board for improvements.
- Building collateral for presentations and documenting technical program guides.
- Producing accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its life cycle.
- Analyzing product roadmaps and technical program risks.
- Facilitating meetings with stakeholders and decision makers.
- Additional duties as required of the business.
What We Look For in a Candidate
- Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of related program operations management experience.
- Proven experience in telecommunications industry, with experience as program manager.
- The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of commercial strategy, enterprise product management, product marketing, and sales enablement.
- Excellent collaboration and effective listening skills.
- Strong attention to detail and superior organizational skills.
- Proven ability to present information to various levels in organizations.
Compensation
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
Location Based Pay Ranges:
$103,711 - $138,281 in these states: AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MO, MS, MT, ND, NE, NM, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, UT, VT, WI, WV, and WY.
$108,896 - $145,195 in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NC, NH, NV, OR, and RI.
$114,082 - $152,109 in these states: AK, CA, CT, DC, DE, IL, MA, MD, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.
