THE ROLE

AG1 is looking for an experienced and highly strategic Senior Manager, Indirect Partner Sourcing to join our growing global Supply Chain team. The role will be critical in ensuring AG1 is able to fully utilize its network of 3rd party partners to achieve the company’s objectives and our consumer value proposition (enabling profitability, cashflow, quality, and sustainability, focusing on optimizing the total value for AG1)

This role is 100% remote and must be based in Ireland.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Supplier Management:

  • Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers and strategic partners that provide indirect goods and services, such as IT services, marketing, and consulting support.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with these suppliers to ensure they meet the company's requirements in terms of cost, quality, and performance expectations.

Negotiation and Contract Management:

  • Lead high-value negotiations to secure optimal terms, pricing, and service levels with suppliers, sponsorship partners, and potential retailers.
  • Manage and oversee contracts, ensuring that all agreements are fulfilled and compliant with terms.

Strategic Sourcing:

  • Develop and implement data-driven strategies to optimize the sourcing of indirect goods and services.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements, ensuring that the procurement of these goods and services aligns with the company’s overall strategic goals.
  • Evaluate ROI on sponsorships, influencer partnerships, and retail deals, ensuring that every investment aligns with business objectives

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with various departments, such as legal, finance, IT, HR, and marketing, to understand business priorities and ensure that the right suppliers are sourced to meet those needs.
  • Work closely with marketing and partnerships teams to assess the impact of sponsorships and retail collaborations, ensuring they contribute to brand growth and revenue goals.
  • Align with finance teams to track spend, budget impact, and cost-efficiency.

Quality Assurance:

  • Work with the quality team to ensure all sourced products and services meet the company’s quality standards.
  • Maintain oversight of contractual obligations, ensuring full compliance with regulatory and corporate policies.

Partnership Development:

  • Collaborate with the partnerships team to identify and onboard new partners that align with the company’s strategic objectives.
  • Evaluate potential partners based on their ability to deliver quality services, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with company values.
  • Support the partnerships team in the development and execution of joint initiatives with partners to drive mutual value and business impact.

Reporting & Analytics:

  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on sourcing activities, supplier performance, and ROI.
  • Use data analytics to optimize vendor selection, contract negotiations, budget allocation, and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • 5-7+ years of procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management within the consumer goods or health and wellness industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in negotiation and managing supplier relationships on a global scale.
  • Proficiency in utilizing game theory principles and reverse auctioning methods.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Adaptability to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proven ability to manage multiple work streams at once.
  • Strong interpersonal, written communication, and organizational skills.

AG1 is dedicated to providing equitable and competitive compensation & benefits packages. For this particular role, the base salary range is €75,600.00 - €96,300.00 and will ultimately be decided at the offer stage, based on an individual candidate’s level of skills and experience aligned with the needs of this role. Base salary is one component of total compensation for this position. We provide a competitive mix of base salary, performance bonus, and stock option allocation for eligible roles.
