Compensation Range:

Annual Salary: $62,579.00 - $84,480.00

Position Summary:

The Digital Experience Analyst is pivotal in enhancing National University's digital platforms by analyzing user behavior and optimizing the online experience. This role involves leveraging analytics tools to interpret complex datasets, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights that drive strategic decisions. The analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven improvements, ensuring a seamless and engaging user journey across all digital touchpoints.

Essential Functions:

UX Analytics and Behavioral Insights

  • Analyze user journeys and web traffic data using Google Analytics, Content Square, and other analytics platforms to identify trends, pain points, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Leverage journey analytics to uncover drop-off points and provide actionable recommendations to improve user flow and engagement.
  • Provide insights into user behavior patterns, recommending adjustments to navigation, site architecture, and content for a seamless experience.
  • Collaborate with the UX team to align analytics with broader user experience strategies.

 A/B Testing and Experimentation

  • Design, implement, and analyze A/B and multivariate tests using tools like Optimizely to evaluate hypotheses and improve digital performance.
  • Partner with UX and web development teams to develop and test personalization strategies that drive engagement and conversions.
  • Identify trends in behavioral data to inform segmentation and dynamic content strategies.
  • Analyze test outcomes to recommend data-driven solutions for ongoing optimization efforts.

Behavioral & Journey Analytics

  • Leverage Content Square/Optimizely to analyze user interaction patterns, map journeys, and identify friction points across digital touchpoints.
  • Deliver actionable recommendations to enhance site usability, increase conversions, and improve the overall user experience.
  • Use Content Square insights to prioritize UX improvements and collaborate on impactful design and content updates.
  • Extract, clean, and process large datasets from web analytics, CRM systems, and marketing platforms to integrate data for a holistic view of user behavior.
  • Develop interactive dashboards and automated reports in Power BI to visualize performance metrics and highlight opportunities for improvement.
  • Present findings and actionable insights to stakeholders in a clear and engaging manner, supporting decision-making with data.

 Strategic Collaboration and Optimization

  • Partner with the UX teams, SEO and Analytics, to align optimization strategies with broader user experience goals, ensuring a consistent and cohesive digital experience.
  • Support performance marketing strategies with data-driven insights to improve campaign effectiveness and ROI.
  • Provide predictive modeling insights to forecast user behavior and optimize resource allocation based on historical performance data.

Reporting and Communication

  • Deliver regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), test outcomes, and optimization projects to cross-functional teams and leadership.
  • Communicate complex data findings in a clear, actionable manner, tailoring insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in digital Analytics, Marketing, UX Design, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in UX analytics, digital optimization, and journey mapping.
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics, Product Analytics, Salesforce, CRM and Power BI.
  • Proven ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Experience collaborating with UX teams and working on cross-functional projects.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence cross-functional stakeholders at various levels, including senior leadership.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, with the ability to prioritize and adapt to changing demands in a fast-paced environment.

Competencies/Technical Skills:

  • Analytics Tools: Expertise in tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and Content Square for journey and behavior analysis.
  • CRO & Testing Tools: Knowledge of Optimizely, VWO, or similar platforms for experimentation and optimization.
  • Data Visualization: Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent tools to create dashboards and reports.
  • Journey Mapping: Strong understanding of user behavior and interaction patterns to improve user flow and engagement.
  • Collaboration Skills: Ability to work effectively with UX designers, developers, and marketing teams.
  • Communication: Skilled in presenting insights to both technical and non-technical audiences. Collaboration & Workflow Tools: Proficiency in collaboration tools such as Trello, Jira, or Asana to manage workflows and align design processes with cross-functional teams.
  • Agile Methodologies: Experience working within Agile frameworks, with the ability to adapt and iterate quickly based on ongoing feedback and data.
  • Performance Marketing Knowledge: Understanding of the relationship between user experience and performance marketing metrics (e.g., conversion rates, ROI, customer acquisition cost) and how UX design directly impacts these metrics.

Note:  Candidates will be asked to present a case study as part of the interview process.
