Job description

As a Brand Strategy Specialist at Juniper, you’ll help shape the creative and strategic direction of product launches, turning audience insights into compelling concepts and go-to-market plans. Working closely with the product design, development, and launch operations team, you’ll ensure every launch aligns with the creator’s identity and deeply connects with their community. This role is perfect for someone who’s passionate about the creator economy and excels at blending storytelling with strategy in a fast-paced environment.


About Juniper


Juniper is a crowdfunding and merchandise platform for independent creators. We don’t just run the funding platform (like Kickstarter), we also create the actual products, launch on creator-branded storefronts, and ship to customers! Juniper has enabled creators to crowdfund specialized products like board games and lava lamps, and fund passion projects like animated shows and charitable initiatives. Areas You'll Own

  • Product Campaign Ideation & Development: Independently research and develop over 25 creator product campaigns annually. Collaborate with Brand Strategy leadership and creators to craft unique campaigns that feel like cultural moments.
  • Client Brand Ownership: Act as the dedicated brand expert for 10–12 Juniper creator clients. Develop a deep understanding of their content, brand voice, and audience preferences to create products that resonate.
  • Project Management: Own the end-to-end development of product campaigns—from concept to approval. Communicate product visions through briefs and collaborate cross-functionally with design and development teams.
  • Brand Growth & Identity: When needed, propose new brand identities or strengthen existing ones through storytelling, visual design collaboration, and complementary product campaigns.
  • External Communication: Lead external comms related to brand strategy. Join creator calls, pitch campaigns, and maintain strong relationships with creators and their teams.

Qualifications 

  • A passion for the creator economy, digital culture, and innovative brand storytelling.
  • Strong qualitative research skills with an ability to generate insights from a variety of sources. Comfortable navigating creator-facing platforms like YouTube, Discord, Reddit, Twitch, or Steam.
  • A compelling presenter who can pitch ideas with clarity, confidence, and enthusiasm—whether to creators, internal teams, or external stakeholders.
  • Ability to connect storytelling with physical products and craft compelling narratives that resonate with a creator’s community and support product adoption.
  • Highly organized, with strong project management skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with teams from ideation through execution.
  • Bonus: Experience in creative agencies, PR firms, or brand studios is a strong plus, especially if you've worked on product launches or campaign development from a narrative-first lens.
