The Managing Director of Project Management (MDPM) is responsible for the day-to-day organization, scheduling, estimating, and management of all client-based work, including print and digital/web-based work throughout the agency. The MDPM works closely with internal agency teams and outside creative partners and associates to ensure that all deliverables are completed on time and on budget.
This position reports directly to the President of CCA.
As our Managing Director, Project Management, you will:Oversee all agency project managementEnsure proactive communication, accurate timelines, and efficient workflow for all projectsIn coordination with senior agency personnel, freelance project support to fulfill project requirementsEstablish project estimates with an eye on project efficiency and profitabilityMonitor project budget and burns, flagging projects that are trending over budgetAssist in scheduling creative briefings, execution meetings, and pre-production meetingsNotify account managers when necessary to contact clients for any materials, information, etc., required to complete scheduled projectsOversee internal routing, review, and approvals of concepts, layouts, artwork, and printer proofs, ensuring that all materials are signed off on and ready to move to the next stepLead weekly agency status and billing meetingsPerform other duties as assigned You have:10-12 years of professional experience as a project manager in an agency environment, with 3+ years of experience in a leadership role with supervisory experience is preferredBachelor’s degreeCertified project management training is a plusHigher Education experience is a plusProficient in Mac software programsFamiliarity with Basecamp and Wrike (or other project management software)Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills with an ability to effectively communicate and interact with all levels of managementProven track record managing multiple, complex projects from conception through implementationProven ability to successfully manage a team with strong leadership and team coaching skillsExcellent relationship management skillsAbility to work effectively in dynamic, rapidly changing, team-based environmentNoodle (CCA) Benefits:Work from our beautiful Troy office OR the comfort of your home office!Great compensation package!401K + match, bonus potential, and equity opportunitiesTools you need on us!
