We are seeking a Technical Implementation Specialist with a strong background in medical imaging and healthcare IT to join our growing team. In this critical role, you’ll be the technical backbone for deploying, integrating, and supporting our imaging solutions across hospitals, imaging centres, and radiology groups.
You’ll work directly with clinical and IT stakeholders to configure integrations, troubleshoot DICOM and HL7 workflows, and ensure a seamless implementation experience. Your work will directly impact the way healthcare providers access, share, and manage diagnostic imaging — helping improve patient care across the board
Key Responsibilities:Lead the technical implementation and configuration of imaging solutions for new customer sites, including PACS/RIS/EMR integrations.Own the diagnosis and resolution of complex imaging workflow issues (e.g., DICOM conformance, image routing, study reconciliation)Collaborate with engineering, product, and support teams to improve product reliability, scalability, and usability.Provide tier 2/3 support for imaging-related issues escalated from customer support.Monitor and optimize customer environments using internal tools and logs; contribute to process automation where possible.Develop and maintain technical documentation, implementation guides, and knowledge base articles.Act as a trusted advisor to clients on best practices in imaging interoperability, data security, and clinical workflow optimization.Participate in customer calls and project meetings to ensure technical alignment and high-quality delivery.Required Qualifications:3+ years of experience in a technical engineering or support role within the medical imaging, PACS, RIS, or healthcare IT space.Deep knowledge of DICOM, HL7, and imaging informatics standards.Experience with radiology workflows, modality configuration, and PACS troubleshooting.Familiarity with healthcare environments and data privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA, PHIPA).Strong analytical, communication, and customer-facing skills.Nice to have:Experience with cloud-based imaging platforms, teleradiology, or interoperability tools (FHIR, IHE).Prior experience working with major PACS/RIS vendors (GE, Sectra, Philips, Change, etc.).Certifications in DICOM, HL7, CIIP, or other healthcare IT standards.You can do amazing things at PocketHealth.
