Job description

Our client is on the lookout for a Senior Director of Product Marketing to spearhead marketing strategies that effectively position their products in the marketplace. In this vital role, you will work closely with product management, sales, and marketing teams to drive product adoption and elevate brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive product marketing strategies that align with overall business goals.
  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Partner with product management to shape the product roadmap based on market insights and customer feedback.
  • Create compelling messaging and positioning for products that resonate with target audiences.
  • Lead the development of marketing collateral, including product briefs, presentations, and promotional materials.
  • Drive the execution of go-to-market plans for product launches and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to equip them with the tools and knowledge needed to effectively sell products.
  • Analyze and report on the performance of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Mentor and develop the product marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in product marketing, with a focus on technology or software products.
  • Proven track record of successful product marketing initiatives that drive growth and customer engagement.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data to inform marketing strategies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in managing teams and cross-functional collaboration.
  • In-depth knowledge of digital marketing techniques and tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple projects.
