About The Opportunity

The Program Management Team is seeking a seasoned project management professional and dynamic leader who is highly organized, motivated, and results-oriented to fill the role of a Senior Project Manager. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for leading and managing multiple concurrent strategic and high priority projects to achieve expected outcomes.

Where you will make an impact

• Lead multiple programs/projects concurrently through all project management phases from initiation/planning through the execution and delivery of the contract concluding with project transition and close, ensuring successful projects that are managed to deliver expected business outcomes.
• Take responsibility for delivering not just a project but a solution - people, process and technology
• Apply Project Management disciplines such as quality, risk, resource, and change management while being accountable for meeting the time, cost, and scope of each project.
• Proactively lead cross-functional teams to ensure open lines of communication, project milestones are met, dependencies are tracked, issues/risks/action items/decisions/change requests are anticipated and mitigated
• Partner with leadership and stakeholders to build positive relationships, open communication, and delivery of business objectives
• Act as a central point of contact for all stakeholders.
• Manage priorities across multiple projects and stakeholders
• Be an advocate for engagement by striving to improve team dynamics and performance by building team cohesiveness through leadership, mentoring, and motivation to yield cooperation, ensure project efficiency, and boost morale.
• Enable continuous improvement by creating a collaborative environment and standardization for measuring results and gathering candid and regular feedback.
• Act with a sense of urgency, high level of quality, strong attention to detail, and drive towards rapid results.
  
  

What You Will Bring

• 5+ years of related work experience including enterprise and technical projects
• Proven ability to independently lead multiple projects simultaneously as well as effectively collaborate across teams and work in a diverse, fast-paced environment
• Strong understanding of project management & implementation in a professional & global services environment
• Deep passion for success, motivation to solve problems, and continuous improvement
• Leadership and management skills; self-directed; requires minimal supervision and oversight as well as strategic planning, talent development, budgeting, operation/process focus, risk management, executive escalation management. Proven ability to create/regain stakeholder trust and partnership.
• Willingness to be a hands-on leader and dig into project details to improve understanding, implementation planning, and communication
• Inquisitive drive to learn new systems and technology and seek innovative solutions
• Results driven, collaborative individual with exceptional interpersonal, organizational, communication and negotiation skills, and ability to influence
• Well-developed analytical and technical problem-solving that uncover insights and recommendations for action
• Direct experience leading multiple projects simultaneously which involve technical solutions, process improvement, organizational change management preferred
• Direct experience leading implementation of large projects, including ERPs or complex distributed application environments preferred
• Experience with AWS projects and tools or similar Cloud products preferred
• Knowledge and experience in SDLC and Agile development preferred
• Superior verbal and written skills, excellent customer service, as well as high attention to detail
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or like experience
• Higher Ed experience is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree, Master’s preferred
