Job Title: Senior Technical Recruiter (AI Focus)

Location: US HOURS EST (Remote)

Join a fast growing, Venture Funded, AI startup based in SF and NYC, dedicated to pushing the boundaries of AI for content generation. This team includes researchers, engineers, and product leaders who focused on on transformative the way we generate long form content.

This team is looking for a Senior Technical Recruiter with a strong background in hiring tools and working with executive leadership hire technical talent. This is a key internal position, responsible for driving the talent acquisition strategy across engineering, AI, and data-focused roles.


Responsibilities
  • Full-cycle recruitment: Oversee the recruitment process for all technical openings, from sourcing and screening to interviews and offer negotiation.

  • Talent sourcing & pipeline management: Utilize various channels (LinkedIn, job boards, AI forums, hackathons, etc.) to identify and engage high-caliber technical talent.

  • Collaboration with stakeholders: Work closely with hiring managers and executive teams to define staffing needs, create accurate job descriptions, and set recruitment goals.

  • Candidate experience: Ensure a transparent, efficient, and positive journey for candidates by providing timely feedback, setting clear expectations, and representing the organization’s culture.

  • Technical assessment coordination: Liaise with engineering and AI leads to develop and administer relevant technical assessments that accurately measure candidate expertise.

  • Market & compensation insight: Stay informed of AI and tech hiring trends, competitive salaries, and emerging skill sets to advise on offers and talent strategies.

  • Process optimization: Continuously refine recruitment workflows to improve key metrics like time-to-fill, quality of hires, and candidate satisfaction.

  • Brand Advocacy: Represent the company’s vision and culture at industry events, virtual meetups, and across online platforms to build a strong employer brand.

Requirements
  • Technical Recruiting Background: 6+ years in technical recruiting at startups, including software engineering or data science roles.

  • AI Hiring Experience (Preferred): Ability to source, screen, and close candidates specializing in machine learning or advanced analytics.

  • Strong Communication Skills: Capable of explaining complex technical roles and conveying organizational culture to prospective hires.

  • Effective Sourcing Techniques: Proven track record of creatively finding top technical talent, especially in niche AI/ML skill areas.

  • Organizational & Time Management: Comfortable managing multiple requisitions and coordinating across various teams.

  • Familiarity with Recruiting Tools: Experience with an applicant tracking system (ATS), as well as sourcing tools like LinkedIn Recruiter and GitHub.

  • Data-Driven Approach: Skilled in using metrics—time-to-fill, conversion rates, etc.—to refine recruitment strategies.

  • Adaptability: Thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments where priorities may shift rapidly.
