We are seeking an experienced Varian Build Specialist to support our suite of Radiation Oncology applications. The ideal candidate will have:
Key Responsibilities:
Configure, test and deploy Varian Aria software based on requirements from operational and technical subject matter experts.
Support Varian Aria application administration and treatment machine configurations.
Troubleshoot build issues, operational challenges, and technical problems in collaboration with Radiation Oncology teams.
Manage interfaces between Aria and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
Gather and analyze information for initiatives, preparing structured documentation and presentations.
Complete assigned tasks according to project work plans
Provide status updates to team leads and management.
Proactively alert stakeholders about at-risk milestones and deliverables
Required Skills:
Experience with Varian Radiation Oncology applications, particularly Aria.
Basic understanding of Citrix and server support
Proven ability to work effectively with Radiation Oncology operational teams and end users.
Strong troubleshooting skills for technical and operational issues
Prior experience in a clinical setting is a plus
Excellent documentation and communication abilities
The successful candidate will serve as a technical liaison between clinical staff, IT teams, and external partners to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyzes, develops, configures, tests, and implements Radiation Oncology systems including ARIA and Treatment devices and integrate with Epic (Electronic Health Record (EHR)) software and related analytics on time with minimal supervision.
Performs system configuration functions using on-line architectural tools with minimal supervision.
Prepares detailed program specifications and flowcharts and coordinates the system's installation with the user department.
Provides status reports to management when required.
Attends meetings as required and participates on committees as directed.
Prepares charts and diagrams to assist in problem analysis and submits recommendations for solutions.
Acts as user liaison between clinical or business departments and Information Systems; providing domain expertise and experience for multiple interacting healthcare departments.
Works closely with operational stakeholders to properly engineer workflow.
Leads others to adhere to established industry best practices, standards, and quality.
Ability to create SQL to run reports in system

Preferred:
Master's Degree or higher
3+ years leading or in a mentoring healthcare role. 5+ years of experience in a clinical role.
Healthcare experience in other acute care health care settings preferred as well. Previous experience in the design, planning and implementation of CIS preferred.
