This is a remote role with the ideal candidate location being in Dallas/Fort Worth, TX.
The Senior Business Analyst plays a critical role in bridging the gap between Product Management, Customers, and Development teams. This role involves analyzing financial reports, conducting market research, and evaluating operating procedures to identify opportunities for business optimization and automation. The Senior Business Analyst will collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to define requirements, develop strategic recommendations, and support project execution to drive efficiency and enhance product offerings.
Responsibilities
This role involves strategic analysis, process improvement, and stakeholder collaboration to drive business impact.
· Identify and evaluate business opportunities for optimization and automation.
· Collaborate with product managers to align business goals with roadmap planning and prioritization.
· Define, document, and communicate clear business requirements, process flows, and functional specifications.
· Partner with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and customer success, to ensure seamless execution.
· Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations to assess business performance and identify trends.
· Analyze existing business processes, identify bottlenecks, and recommend improvements.
· Facilitate meetings and discussions with stakeholders to validate and refine requirements.
· Assist in project management efforts, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and timely delivery.
· Stay up to date with Human Capital Management (HCM), payroll tax, and compliance industry trends to inform business strategies.
· Ensure strong documentation practices and maintain a structured approach to capturing insights.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess a combination of analytical skills, HCM industry knowledge, and stakeholder management expertise.
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or a related field.
· Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in business analysis, quality analysis, or a related role within an HCM SaaS environment.
· Strong understanding of HCM SaaS software applications and payroll tax compliance.
· Proven ability to context switch while maintaining commitments and deadlines.
· Ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate across teams to drive business outcomes.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
· Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills with a structured approach to problem-solving.
· Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience working with reporting/visualization tools.
· Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills.
· A track record of delivering on commitments and ensuring follow-through on initiatives.
