Job description

JoomPro is a platform for cross-border wholesale trade. We aspire to create a new level of service in the wholesale purchasing market. We want to give everyone from anywhere in the world an opportunity to order goods from factories in China (and Vietnam, Bangladesh, and Turkey in the future) quickly, easily, and safely.

JoomPro is one of the key businesses of Joom, an international group of e-commerce companies that was founded in 2016 in Latvia. Joom also includes other businesses: Joom Marketplace, a platform for shopping from all over the world, and Onfy, a pharmaceutical marketplace in Germany. Joom’s offices are located in Latvia, China, Hong Kong, the USA, Germany, Brazil and Portugal.

Now we are looking for a Purchasing Specialist to manage all processes related to order management, order delivery/fulfillment, quality control, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Formulate order requirements (packaging, personalized customization, labeling) for factories and place the PO timely
  • Clarify financial-related details(price, invoice, payment path) of the order with the vendor, place PO, and arrange the payment timely
  • Control manufacturing deadlines and correct implementation of all order requirements by the factory
  • Follow up on quality issues after delivery and resolve quality issues timely

Requirements

  • 5 years+ of working experience in the field of procurement
  • Good knowledge of the procurement process (order management, order delivery/fulfillment, quality control, etc.)
  • Profound experience in managing Chinese suppliers/factories
  • Advanced level of English
