Fugro is looking for a dynamic Caribbean Market Specialist. The individual will directly support Climate and Nature market development in the Caribbean through the business development of flagship projects. You will be tasked with identifying and communicating market insights, implementing strategies to deliver Fugro market solutions, and managing a complex stakeholder landscape to develop this priority market. This job opportunity can be accomplished with fully remote work within the continental United States.

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Lead by example and place Quality, Health & Safety, Security, and the protection of the Environment as core values while never intentionally placing employees, our processes, customers, or the communities in which we live and work at risk.
  • Work closely with the Regional Market Lead and Global Climate and Nature team to identify market insights, develop market opportunities, and fill the sales funnel with flagship projects.
  • Execute strategies with Global Key Account Managers to connect country-level client needs with international development aid and funding opportunities, serving as the trusted, connected, and knowledgeable subject matter expert.
  • Develop and bring qualified opportunities to the proposal management and service line commercial teams, advise proposal development, and prepare and deliver sales pitches in collaboration with Fugro commercial and technical experts.
  • Communicate, collaborate, and coach Fugro business development and project management teams in the Caribbean and Latin America.
  • Develop flagship opportunities and diversified revenue growth through early client engagement, built on trusted relationships and proactive consultative selling. Attended events and conferences to increase Fugro’s brand exposure, identify new leads, and cultivate client contacts.
  • Conduct market assessments and develop go-to-market strategies for Fugro services.
  • Regularly input and update contacts, leads, and opportunities in CRM.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Authorized to work in the United States without restrictions
  • A master’s degree or higher in Ecological Sciences, Environmental Science, Geology, Geospatial Sciences, Marine Sciences, or a related field is highly preferred, but a Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development/sales focusing on coastal resilience, blue carbon, or marine protected areas.
  • A general understanding of the application of geo-data services is preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite, PowerPoint, and CRM Software.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and a clear driving record.
  • Must hold a valid passport for international travel.
  • Must have excellent and effective oral and written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • This role will require up to 50% travel.
