The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated, results-driven eCommerce National Account Manager to steward and grow relationships with a select group of strategic industry software platforms, as well as the promotional products distributors who use these platforms to drive their businesses. The role requires a strategic thinker with a keen sense of technical acuity and strong project management skills, as well as strong relationship management skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the platform(s), including features, benefits and opportunities for PCNA to further optimize our API integrations with, and our presence /engagement on, the platform(s).
  • Serve as the business owner of PCNA’s customer integrations with several tech platforms and APIs and work with IT to drive prioritization and optimization recommendations based on our strategy and ROI. 
  • Serve as the lead for our partnership with the platforms; positioning PCNA as the supplier partner of choice and building strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Develop a systematic process for procuring data, analytics and developing insights from the platform.
  • Leverage data and insights to create timely, actionable plans and partner with the sales and marketing teams to drive programmatic execution.
  • Identify opportunities throughout the platform to grow consideration via improved merchandising, targeted up-sell/cross-sell strategies and expanded product/service offerings.
  • Set and track sales goals, analyze performance metrics, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Represent PCNA at relevant platform and/or industry events.

           Qualifications & Skills

          • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
          • 5+ years of experience in business administration, business development, sales or marketing.
          • Experience with buying groups and/or SAS selling platforms
          • Experience in developing business requirements and use cases for technical teams to execute against.
          • Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
          • Demonstrated ability to coordinate and lead cross-functional teams, including IT / Development resources, across sales, marketing, customer service and IT initiatives that drive sales impact.
          • Proficiency in Power BI, Salesforce, Microsoft
          • Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.

          Preferred Experience

          • Experience working in two-tiered B2B distribution environments
          • Experience / working knowledge of promotional products software platforms and APIs (e.g. Common Sku, Promo Standards, etc.)
