We are currently seeking an ITSS-SQL Developer to join our team working remote, United States (US) or Canada (CAN).

Job Description:
The SQL Database Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing database solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong SQL proficiency and a solid understanding of database design principles, performance tuning, and ETL processes. This role requires analytical skills to derive insights from data and enhance overall data management efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write and optimize SQL queries for data retrieval, insertion, updates, and deletions.
• Design and structure effective database schemas to support various applications.
• Optimize database performance and speed through tuning and monitoring.
• Execute ETL processes to extract data from multiple sources, transform it, and load it into databases.
• Analyze data to derive actionable insights and support decision-making processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and implement solutions.
• Utilize Azure SQL Server, Azure Data Factory, and Databricks for database management and data processing.
• Implement automation solutions using Power Automate and other relevant tools.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience and Proficiency in SQL and experience with database design and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with ETL processes and tools.
• Experience with Azure SQL Server, Azure Data Factory, and Databricks.
• Knowledge of Python and Streamsets is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
