 What You’ll Do:

  • Prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Manage the full sales cycle – from prospecting and discovery to negotiation and close.
  • Generate new business opportunities via outbound calls and emails, social media and partner channels
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline
  • Identify key executive-level decision-makers and build strategic relationships to introduce our solutions
  • Develop a strong understanding of our products and how they solve real-world problems for different industries.
  • Become an Akkadian subject matter expert by aligning and collaborating with other team members for best practices
  • Create compelling value propositions tailored to client needs and present custom solutions.
  • Consult with prospects and existing customers regarding business objectives and requirements, frame the value of Akkadian offerings as a differentiated solution for those goals
  • Collaborate with marketing, pre-sales, and product teams to drive pipeline and improve customer engagement.
  • Consistently and accurately update Salesforce to schedule and complete detailed activity in leads, contacts, accounts, and accurately update pipeline
  • Present online demonstrations to key decision makers across different verticals
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of B2B technology sales experience, ideally in SaaS, automation, or unified communications platforms.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but what we value more is experience along with mental agility
  • Proficiency in solution selling and/or consultative selling methods, including prospecting and pipeline management
  • Proven track record of exceeding new logo acquisition goals.
  • Strong prospecting, networking, and lead generation skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to understand complex technical products and translate value to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with and dedication to accurately maintaining Salesforce CRM applications
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels in an organization, including key decision makers
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% of the time
