About The Team

The North American Sales organization at Ivanti are building teams that understand the increasing complexity and sophisticated threats our enterprise customers face daily. Our mission is to adapt and anticipate the disparate needs of the modern workforce to automate the tasks that discover, manage, secure, and service all IT assets.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Manage and cultivate strategic relationships with distribution partners to drive mutual growth and success.
  • Negotiate contracts and service level agreements, ensuring alignment and compliance.
  • Analyze partner performance and KPIs, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute impactful business development strategies.
  • Oversee logistics and inventory management processes to ensure timely product delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Provide data-driven insights and reports to senior management on partnership effectiveness and supply chain performance.
  • Facilitate clear communication and collaboration between internal stakeholders and distribution partners.
  • Lead regular training and partner review sessions to promote transparency and continuous improvement.

To Be Successful in The Role, You Will Have

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 5-7 years of experience in partner management, distribution, supply chain, or B2B sales.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Expertise in contract negotiations, inventory management, and performance optimization.
  • Proficient in data analysis with experience using analytical tools and software.
  • Ability to manage multiple partners and projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with ERP, CRM, or partner management software is a plus.
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach.

Roadmap for Success

  • First 90 Days:
    • Onboard and complete all necessary training related to company policies, culture, and systems.
    • Meet with key internal stakeholders to understand business objectives and align on distribution strategies.
    • Develop a comprehensive understanding of current distribution partners, including performance metrics and relationships.
    • Establish clear communication channels with partners, including scheduling introductory calls and meetings.
    • Assess current partnership agreements and identify any immediate improvement opportunities.
    • Gather and analyze market data to identify potential new distribution partners and market trends.
  • First 6 Months:
    • Formulate and implement a strategic growth plan for existing distribution partners.
    • Negotiate updated partnership agreements or service level agreements (SLAs) where necessary.
    • Work closely with partners to identify and execute joint marketing initiatives and promotions.
    • Conduct performance evaluations and reviews of distribution partners, aligning on objectives and improvement areas.
    • Develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency, including logistics and inventory management processes.
    • Coordinate and host quarterly partner review meetings to foster collaboration and feedback.
  • First 12 Months:
    • Achieve measurable growth in partner-generated revenue and market share.
    • Monitor and refine partnership performance metrics to continuously enhance efficiency and service delivery.
    • Identify and onboard at least 2-3 new distribution partners to expand market reach.
    • Conduct a comprehensive assessment of supply chain operations and propose improvements or innovations.
    • Prepare and present a detailed report on partnership performance, market trends, and strategic recommendations to senior management.
    • Establish a framework for ongoing communication and collaboration with distribution partners to sustain long-term relationships.
