What you’ll do
As the Head of Business & People Analytics at ghSMART, you will drive and lead the development of a world-class analytics function. Your mission is to provide strategic decision-making support through advanced data intelligence, driving business growth, client impact, and people development. You will establish robust data management systems, implement effective data collection processes, and leverage advanced analytics across functions. Acting as a key advisor to the executive team, you will influence all internal stakeholders, embedding data-driven decision-making into the firm’s operating model to enhance commercial success, optimize talent development, and improve firm-wide profitability.
ResponsibilitiesBusiness & Data Infrastructure Development: Design and implement a centralized and interconnected management information system that facilitates automated data pipelines, reducing manual entry, and enhancing accuracy. Ensure organizational adoption and develop a scalable data strategy roadmap that aligns with the firm's long-term growth and evolving analytics needs.Data Collection & Governance: Develop standardized and repeatable data collection processes to achieve 95%+ data accuracy and completeness across all business areas, ensuring compliance with data governance best practices (e.g., privacy, security, and regulatory adherence).Analytics-Driven Business Insights: Deliver monthly and quarterly business intelligence reports to the leadership team, focusing on profitability, revenue growth, and client impact. Establish predictive analytics models to inform strategic decisions on commercial growth, pricing strategies, and resource allocation.People Analytics & Talent Development Insights: Develop a robust People Analytics framework to track consultant performance, engagement, and career progression. Implement a data-driven approach to workforce planning, ensuring optimal talent deployment and leadership development.Impact on Decision-Making & Profitability: Develop solutions that enhance profit margins, boost client retention, and increase employee productivity through insights-driven interventions. Embed analytics into core workflows to integrate data intelligence into decision-making and operational processes.You BringBachelor's Degree required, in analytical subject preferred (e.g., math, science, engineering, economics, etc.).7+ years of progressive business experience, prior analytics experience required.Expertise in BI tools (Tableau, Power BI), SQL databases, cloud-based data platforms, and statistical modeling to create predictive analytics and automated workflows.Familiarity with financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow.Strong understanding of financial drivers in a professional services firm. Ability to analyze client behaviors, revenue streams, and market trends.Ability to effectively engage and influence senior executives and stakeholders in the development of solutions that will accelerate data-driven insights for our most critical business initiatives.Proven track record of leading organizational change in analytics-driven decision-making, including internal adoption.Excellent communication and data storytelling skills to translate complex data into compelling, actionable narratives for non-technical audiences.Results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-impact insights,Demonstrated ability to own, manage and complete projects with high quality results.Collaborative team player who partners with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.Commitment to integrity, collaboration, ethical data use and confidentiality.Passion for innovation in business intelligence and analytics.Why join ghSMART?
