As the Everything After Sales Development Representative, you will be working on and developing our sales funnel and testing out creative ways to sell our various products, you’ll wear many hats while playing a key role in helping our company grow.
Main responsibilities for this role:
Make outbound calls to set quality appointments for industry professionals to share the importance of preplanning and sell pre-need products
Overcome objections and build value in appointments with warmth and empathy
Efficiently manage warm leads presented through a CRM system
Partake in various ongoing job training, along with department meetings, and All-Hands meetings
Competencies and skills needed:
Demonstrate common sense, compassion, and empathy, on the phone and with colleagues
A strong desire to help and serve others
Strong customer service skills
Be comfortable having sensitive conversations with individuals who have recently lost a loved one
Strong sales acumen
Build strong relationships with customers and team members
Ability to make phone calls for extended periods of time
Knowledge of basic PC operations and software
Ability to type notes into a CRM effectively
Ability to work any designated day shift (Monday-Thursday) and half-day Fridays
Education and/or Experience:
1-3 + years of sales experience
High School diploma/GED or higher
