About The Role

The Senior People Operations Generalist reports to the Director, People Operations & Total Rewards and is responsible for managing key People Operations functions with a primary focus on employee experience, operational efficiency, and compliance. This role will support the organization in areas including onboarding, offboarding, HRIS maintenance, policy and procedure development, benefit administration, and compliance. The Senior People Operations Generalist will also lead, manage, and develop key HR projects aimed at driving continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do

  •  Lead and manage key People Operations projects, ensuring they are executed on time and within scope, and meet organizational objectives.
  • Manage employee relations issues, serving as the first point of contact, by providing guidance and support to managers/supervisors and employees. Lead or assist with complex investigations, ensuring thorough and impartial resolutions. Support conflict resolution and mediation efforts, working to maintain a positive and productive work environment. Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to managers (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
  • Manage the daily HRIS system functions, ensure accurate data and employment records, streamline day-to-day processes, and generate reports.
  • Manage the day-to-day processes of various total rewards and people operations programs and projects such as leave, educational assistance, and ADA interactive processes and compensation and benefits administration and training programs.
  • Lead the execution of the annual open enrollment process for employee benefits, ensuring timely communication, enrollment, and support for employees. Coordinate with external vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth open enrollment experience.
  • Assist in the development, review, and implementation of HR policies and procedures to ensure alignment with current labor law and organizational mission and values.
  • Manage Array’s Wellness programs, focusing on the physical, emotional, and mental well-being of employees by developing and implementing wellness initiatives and programs that promote a healthy work-life balance, increase employee engagement, and contribute to overall employee satisfaction.
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with labor laws and regulations, ensuring all employee records, policies, and postings meet legal requirements.
  • Support the People Operations team by serving as backup to the Generalist on day-to-day activities as needed.
  • Maintain regular audits for key priority HR items such as document storage and retention and compliance standards. Respond to audit requests for insurance and benefit programs such as worker’s compensation, 401k, and other company and department needs.
  • Assist in the response of standard requests for employee records based on established guidelines, handling more complex or confidential inquiries.
  • Other duties as assigned.


What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of progressive experience within Human Resources, with a focus on policy and procedure, people operations, benefits, and compliance.
  • Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and/or relevant experience that demonstrates the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
  • Demonstrated experience managing employee relations including conflict resolution, investigations, and performance management.
  • Strong sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional customer service to employees and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and data management.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.


Position Logistics & Physical Requirements

  • Constantly operate at a computer and other related peripherals such as a keyboard, mouse, headset, etc.
  • Must remain in a stationary position most of the time working.
  • Frequent communication via remote meeting software, softphones, or cell phones.
  • Predominantly working in the employees’ home, indoor, office setup.
  • 100% remote position
  • Required to have a private office space in home or elsewhere for confidentiality
  • Reports to Director, People Operations & Total Rewards
  • Minimal travel of less than 5% annually


Compensation And Benefits

  • The pay range for this role is $83,000 - $88,000 annual. This information reflects the anticipated salary range for this position using current market data. The final offer will be determined based on an individual's skills, years of experience, education, capacity, licenses, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
