What You’ll Do

As a Commercial Property Field Adjuster, you will investigate and evaluate daily property claims—ranging from small businesses to large commercial losses—ensuring every claim is handled accurately and efficiently while adhering to carrier and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

✔️ Conduct on-site inspections of damaged commercial properties to assess loss and determine claim-related damages.

✔️ Investigate, document, and resolve claims independently and within delegated authority.

✔️ Prepare detailed, professional estimates using Xactimate (Symbility experience is a plus).

✔️ Apply knowledge of policy language and coverage to make fair and sound claim decisions.

✔️ Set and adjust reserves in line with carrier guidelines.

✔️ Submit timely and thorough reports, photos, and documentation, including severe incident and ITV reports.

✔️ Deliver exceptional service to clients, policyholders, and internal teams.

✔️ Stay informed of insurance policies, local repair costs, and construction practices to ensure claims accuracy.

✔️ Maintain compliance with state licensing and continuing education requirements.

What You Bring

2–3+ years of commercial property claims experience required (Farm & Ranch a plus).

✅ Bachelor’s Degree Preferred, High School Diploma Required.

Valid adjuster license for your home state and any state(s) you will cover.

Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation for field inspections.

✅ Active E&O insurance policy with a minimum of $250,000 coverage.

✅ Proficiency in Xactimate required; Symbility experience a plus.

General construction knowledge and the ability to assess complex losses.

✅ Physically able to climb ladders, access roofs, attics, and crawlspaces, and perform inspections safely.

✅ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.

✅ Ability to follow client-specific guidelines and meet service deadlines.

✅ Self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
