Job description

Who Are We?

Welcome to Welltech—where health meets innovation! As a global leader in the Health & Fitness industry, we’ve crossed over 200 million installs with five life-changing apps, all designed to boost well-being for millions.

Our mission? To transform lives through intuitive nutrition trackers, powerful fitness solutions, and personalized wellness journeys—all powered by a diverse team of over 800 passionate professionals across five hubs.

Why Welltech?
Imagine joining a team where your impact on global health and wellness is felt daily. At Welltech, we strive to be proactive wellness partners for our users, while continually evolving—ourselves.

As we explore new heights, we’re looking for a Senior UX Researcher (Contractor) to support the YogaGo team. This person will play a pivotal role in helping us better understand and design for our users' needs. This role is open in Cyprus, Spain, Poland, and Ukraine.

Challenges You’ll Meet:
  • You'll be at the heart of user-centered innovation. Our teams rely on insight—not gut instinct—to make decisions. That’s where you come in: surfacing the current user experience and helping validate new ideas, concepts, and features.

  • You'll build upon our understanding of a creative, health-focused audience. Each moment spent exploring their experience gets us closer to their world. You’ll help design frameworks that shift how the team sees and thinks.

  • You’ll be part of a product ecosystem that is user-centered by nature. Your work will be essential in highlighting the value of research and embedding insights into the product development process.

  • You’ll have the space to make an impact. We value autonomy and trust—and we’ll support your work every step of the way. You’ll influence product roadmaps, feature directions, and design choices.

Your Professional Qualities:
  • You are practical and hands-on. Methods don’t define your impact—you shape your work by listening, observing, and deeply understanding the product, its users, and its stakeholders.

  • You have a sharp, curious mind. Whether it’s uncovering the question behind the question or the root of a user’s challenge, you’re always digging deeper.

  • You’re adaptable and collaborative. We’re a small, fast-moving team. While your primary focus is research, you’re happy to jump into research ops, advocacy, or team-wide initiatives when needed.

And Some More:
  • You have 5+ years of hands-on experience conducting user research for digital products, with a proven track record of leading end-to-end studies independently—from scoping and planning to synthesis and stakeholder alignment

  • You’ve led evaluative research across a range of methods (usability testing, concept testing, unmoderated testing), and you understand how to match methods to product maturity, risk, and timeline

  • You know how to work with ambiguous problem spaces and distill them into clear, researchable questions that align with business and user goals

  • You can confidently design and execute strategic, mixed-methods research, integrating qualitative insights (e.g. in-depth interviews, diary studies, ethnography) with quantitative validation (e.g. surveys, behavioral data, segmentation)

  • You have experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, aligning diverse stakeholders around research goals, and effectively communicating insights to influence product decisions

  • You're comfortable working autonomously, but you also understand when and how to collaborate closely with designers, PMs, analysts, and other researchers to create a shared understanding of the user experience

  • You’re skilled at identifying research gaps and proactively proposing impactful studies—not just responding to briefs, but helping shape them

  • You’re a strong communicator, fluent in English, and skilled at making insights land with a variety of stakeholders

  • You’re comfortable working remotely and flexibly with colleagues across time zones

We offer a fair level of compensation appropriate to your expertise and experience.
