Job Title: Senior Counsel (Remote – EMEA Focus)

Location: Remote (EMEA time zones preferred)
Reports to: Director of Legal

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Senior Counsel to join our fully remote legal team. This position will focus on managing employment-related disputes and litigation across the EMEA region, while also supporting a wide range of commercial matters including supply chain agreements and day-to-day legal issues. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and advise senior management on risk mitigation, regulatory compliance, and contractual strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle employment disputes and litigation across EMEA, coordinating with external counsel as needed.
  • Provide legal advice and support on employment law matters, including internal investigations, terminations, and employee relations.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts, including supply chain and procurement agreements.
  • Advise on legal risks and mitigation strategies across various business functions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including HR, Operations, Procurement, and Sales.
  • Monitor legal and regulatory developments in key EMEA jurisdictions and provide updates and guidance to business teams.
  • Support broader legal department initiatives and contribute to the continuous improvement of legal processes and templates.

Qualifications

  • Law degree and current license to practice law
  • Minimum 5 years of legal experience, with a strong background in employment law and commercial contracting.
  • Experience handling or managing litigation and disputes, ideally across multiple jurisdictions in EMEA.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely, while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build trust across cultures and functions.
  • Business-oriented mindset and sound judgment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior in-house legal experience.
  • Familiarity with global or cross-border legal issues.
  • Experience supporting supply chain or procurement functions.
