As an all-in-one engagement and communications platform, their mission is to connect government agencies with the communities they serve and facilitate equitable participation and representative data.


THE ROLE

Our client is seeking a results-driven Account Manager to secure new partnerships and foster relationships with public sector consulting firms. The ideal candidate will manage and grow a portfolio of consultant agency partners, contributing directly to the achievement of new revenue and customer retention goals. In this role, you will support consultants in leveraging the platform to achieve success with their clients, while driving both new revenue acquisition and net revenue retention (NRR) from existing partnerships. You will act as a trusted advisor, helping consultants fully realize the platform’s potential and grow their business.

This is a fully remote role.


WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Manage a portfolio of consultant partners, ensuring they effectively leverage their account seats and licenses to achieve engagement success with their clients.
  • Drive ARR growth by expanding opportunities with new consultant partners and maintaining healthy NRR by securing renewals and license growth from existing consultants.
  • Be a trusted advisor to consultant customers, connecting them with internal resources (product, technical support, etc.) to ensure positive customer experiences and outcomes.
  • Build and deepen relationships with existing consultant users to identify opportunities and secure formal partnerships.
  • Convert passive consultant users into promoters and partners, assisting them in driving new public agency adoption of the platform.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure consultants’ success on the platform, including Customer Support and product teams.
  • Represent our client at webinars, conferences, and presales meetings, positioning yourself as a subject matter expert in public engagement.
  • Gather and communicate consultant feedback to influence product decisions and drive ARR growth, ensuring consultants achieve their goals with the platform.
  • Help consultants win more business by strategically advising them on how to leverage our client’s platform effectively.
  • Focus on increasing ARR through both new and existing consultant partnerships, as well as driving higher adoption rates by agencies supported by consultants.


WHAT YOU WILL LIKELY NEED


  • Proven experience in SaaS sales or business development for a consulting firm, with a strong track record in securing public sector contracts.
  • Deep understanding of the architecture, engineering, and planning consulting industry to earn the trust of consultant partners.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills with consultants, customers, and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience leading presentations, webinars, and educational content for conferences and marketing efforts.
  • A proactive, flexible, and results-oriented mindset, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong strategic thinking, with the ability to influence partners and drive growth in a dynamic sector.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate across teams and with external partners.
  • Ability to mentor and collaborate with both internal teams and external partners to drive mutual success.
  • Proven experience in driving product adoption and expanding the customer base through strategic partnership management.
  • A passion for improving public engagement and contributing to positive community outcomes.
