Job Description

As an Oracle Cloud IAM Application Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for identity and access management (IAM) solutions deployed in Oracle Cloud environments. You will ensure that applications running on Kubernetes pods are secure, reliable, and compliant with organizational policies. This role involves troubleshooting issues, optimizing IAM processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance application performance. You will also lead the design and implementation of Oracle Identity Cloud Service solutions to manage user identities and access across various applications.

Your Responsibilities


  • Application Support: Provide functional and technical support for IAM applications, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and maintenance of systems running on Kubernetes.
  • Monitoring & Optimization: Monitor application performance and stability within Kubernetes environments, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with development, security, and operations teams to resolve technical issues and implement IAM best practices across cloud applications.
  • Incident Management: Manage incidents related to IAM services, ensuring timely resolution and documentation of issues in accordance with ITIL processes.
  • User Management: Assist in the administration of user identities, roles, and permissions within Oracle Identity Cloud Service, ensuring compliance with security policies.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including troubleshooting guides, knowledge base articles, and process workflows.


Our Requirements


  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in identity and acces management or application support roles, particularly within Oracle Clou environments.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Oracle Identity Cloud Service and IAM concepts.
  • Experience with Kubernetes for deploying and managing applications.
  • Knowledge of security protocols such as SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python or Bash) for automation tasks.
  • Understanding of cloud infrastructure principles and best practices.
  • Expertise in:
  • Oracle WebLogic Server, Oracle Internet Directory, Oracle Virtual Directory, Oracle Unified Directory, Oracle Access Manager, Oracle Identity Manager, Oracle API Gateway, Oracle Enterprise Single-Sign-On.
  • OIM Reconciliation and Provisioning, SOA Composites, Request Workflows, Password Policy Configuration.
  • OAM integration with Web Gate and configuring OAM for SSO.
  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
  • Kubernetes Expertise: Deployment and management of applications on Oracle Kubernetes Engine (OKE).
  • Tools: Kubernetes CLI (kubectl), Helm, Terraform, JIRA, Git, LDAP, Active Directory.
  • Security Compliance, Risk Assessment, Documentation.
