Job description

This is a remote position.

Schedule:

  • 40 paid hours per week

  • Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm with 1 hour unpaid break (8 paid hours per day)

Job Description

We’re seeking an experienced Shopify Store Manager to take full ownership of our e-commerce operations at launch and beyond. In this role, you’ll be the driving force behind our digital storefront, managing everything from technical platform operations to customer experience. You’ll work with cutting-edge e-commerce tools while helping build a community of outdoor enthusiasts. This position offers the perfect blend of technical expertise and customer engagement, requiring someone who can both manage complex platform operations and ensure exceptional customer service through primarily digital channels. As we prepare for our May 2025 launch, you’ll have the opportunity to influence our digital strategy and help establish our brand in the outdoor recreation space.


Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary administrator for our Shopify store, managing products, collections, and inventory
  • Lead customer service initiatives through email and chat channels, with occasional voice support
  • Execute customer retention strategies using Shopify CRM tools, including win-back campaigns and loyalty programs
  • Monitor and optimize key performance metrics including conversion rates, cart abandonment, and average order value
  • Partner with the marketing team to enhance landing pages and develop effective upsell flows
  • Maintain platform stability and resolve technical issues independently
  • Implement and manage inventory tracking systems
  • Create and optimize product listings and collections
  • Develop and maintain customer service protocols and response templates
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of e-commerce management experience
  • Proven track record managing Shopify stores with demonstrated technical proficiency
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and technical troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with CRM systems and loyalty program management
  • Proficiency in analyzing and acting on e-commerce metrics
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining clear communication
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Experience in customer service management
  • Comfort with digital communication tools and platforms
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and systems quickly
