Superlanet is seeking three experienced Athena Analysts to support our healthcare client in Texas. This is a remote, 16-month contract with work extending through an Epic Go-Live, providing vital support during the transition from Athenahealth to Epic.
The ideal candidates will have deep expertise with Athenahealth’s clinical and/or revenue cycle modules and a strong understanding of workflows, reporting, data migration, and end-user support. These roles are critical to ensuring continuity of operations, data integrity, and user satisfaction throughout the Epic implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the Athena subject matter expert during the transition to Epic
Support day-to-day operations in Athenahealth during the Epic build and implementation phase
Assist in data mapping, validation, and reconciliation between Athena and Epic
Identify and document existing Athena workflows to support Epic design decisions
Provide cross-functional support to project teams, end users, and operational stakeholders
Help resolve issues in Athena that may impact data extraction, migration, or reporting
Maintain Athena system access and usability for reference post-Go-Live
Collaborate closely with Epic analysts and IT leadership during testing and Go-Live readiness
Qualifications:
3+ years of hands-on experience with Athenahealth (EHR and/or Revenue Cycle)
Strong understanding of clinical and/or billing workflows within Athena
Prior experience supporting EHR transition or Epic implementation is highly preferred
Familiarity with data validation, migration processes, and reporting tools
