What’s unique about this role?

The PAC Manager supports the planning, coordination, and implementation of HR programs and policies across assigned client groups. As a key contact for managers and employees, this role fosters strong relationships to deliver effective HR support, ensure a positive employee experience, and enable organizational effectiveness. The PAC Manager partners with senior PAC leaders to ensure consistency in the application of programs and policies and provides day-to-day HR operations support. This role will also contribute to PAC-related project management initiatives and play a key role in change management and process improvement efforts.

 

What will this person do?

  • Support business leaders by serving as a trusted advisor on HR-related topics.
  • Provide guidance and counsel to managers and employees on core HR matters including policy interpretation, employee relations, engagement, and development.
  • Collaborate with senior PAC team members in the execution of HR programs and annual processes (e.g., performance management, compensation planning, engagement survey follow-up).
  • Participate in PAC-led projects, ensuring strong execution and follow-through, including timelines, communication, and tracking of deliverables.
  • Support internal communication strategies and materials related to HR programs, change management efforts, and employee experience initiatives.
  • Contribute and occasionally lead project planning and management, ensuring coordination across teams and efficient execution of work.
  • Identify and escalate risks or gaps in processes, and execute thoughtful solutions to improve HR services and delivery.
  • Build effective partnerships with other departments (e.g., Finance, IT, Legal) to ensure aligned support to client groups.
  • Lead initiatives that foster a strong organizational culture, employee engagement, and retention.
  • Maintain employee data and support compliance with federal, state, and international labor laws.
  • Stay informed of employment trends, regulatory changes, and HR best practices.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience required.
  • 5–8 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a business partner or generalist capacity.
  • Project management experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience in technology or professional services environments is a plus.
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects with attention to detail and timely execution.
  • Solid understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment law.
  • Effective communicator—verbal and written—with strong influencing skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and operate with a customer-service mindset.
  • Demonstrated project management capabilities, including planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Analytical mindset; comfortable using data to support recommendations.

 

Work Environment and Physical Demands

  • Duties are performed in a typical office environment while at a desk or computer table.
  • Duties require the ability to use a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material, in a quiet and professional setting.
  • Duties may require being on call periodically and working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends).

The salary range for this position may be tailored to be lower or higher in different talent markets.
