What you will do in a Senior Data Architect role at Kyruus Health: Technical Leadership & Development: As a recognized technical leader within the company, build and provide architectural data guidance to all products and services about how to work, manage, and interact with the data platform. Occasionally, acting as a technical advisor who engage with C suites executive and department heads to influence technology strategy.Data Mesh enablement: As Kyruus is committed to enable data mesh architecture, design, build, and maintain the domain-driven design where data can be securely stored, access controlled, discoverable, and usable while under the centralized governance.System Architecture & Best Practices: Establish and enforce best practices for coding, testing, CI/CD pipelines, security, and performance optimization. Drive continuous improvements in architecture to enhance scalability and reliability.Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other engineering teams, DevOps, and QA to align on project goals, system integrations, and operational excellence. Maintaining an extensive relationship throughout the organization to influence and drive well architecture designs. Can communicate effectively to both engineering teams and upper management to align expectations and ensure successful product delivery.Quality & Performance: Ensure high availability and reliability of the data platform. Identify, and provide guidance to resolve performance bottlenecks, and implement monitoring and alerting systems.Risk Management: Identify potential risks in projects and technical decisions, proposing mitigation strategies and contingency plans. Ensure the system is designed and controlled according to SOC2 and HiTrust certifications and meets HIPAA rule.

What you will bring:12+ years of software engineering experience, including hands-on technical experience building, maintaining and scaling data systems. 5+ years of experience as a tech lead who successfully converts business / product requirements into well architecture designs.Extensive experience in building and scaling large data pipelines including real time processing and / or 100+ GB transformation in Java, Python, DBT, and SQL.Extensive experience in building and maintaining large business intelligence projects with popular business intelligence tools such as Looker, PowerBI, and Looker.A deep knowledge of common data technology stacks such as GCP BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks, DBT, Datalake architecture on AWS S3 or GCP Cloud storage.A deep knowledge in cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, and cloud-native API solutions.A deep knowledge of data modeling and data governance control.A strong RESTful API design principles, microservices architecture, distributed asynchronous system and good design patterns.A strong knowledge with CI/CD pipelines (CircleCI, Github Action), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and version control (Git), infrastructure as code (Pulumi, Terraform), Relational and NoSQL databases, caching mechanisms (Redis, Memcached), and performance optimization techniques.Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical details to upper management and non technical stakeholders.A proven problem-solving ability with a focus on delivering solutions.Positive attitude: Maintaining a constructive approach to work challenges.
Strong preferred skills and experience
Experience in the healthcare industry and have a good understanding of the ecosystem and data security compliance.Experience with multiple EHR integrations such as Epic and Cerner and intricate knowledge of managing the EHR partnership.Experience with implementing and managing data contracts.Compensation Information:Base Pay Range: $160,000 - $180,000/yearOther Compensation: In addition to your salary, this position is also eligible for our annual bonus program, equity, and benefits. Salary ranges are a guideline and pay is based on a variety of factors including; qualifications, competencies, skill-set, and organizational needs.
