About the Role

As a Sales Engineer for API and DMS,  you will engage with clients as their first point of contact, efficiently and effectively planning and coordinating technical projects. You will identify, customize, and implement appropriate applications and solutions for external clients, translating business requirements into off-the-shelf and customization specifications. Your role includes pre-sales activities, pre-installation assessment, systems analysis, software integration, and post-installation implementation assessment.

You will primarily work with various Document Management Systems, Document Drafting Software, and be proficient in APIs and their functionalities.

Responsibilities

  • Managing the overall success and client satisfaction with DMS and Drafting Solutions projects.
  • Planning implementation projects, including setting up engagements and planning sessions with key stakeholders.
  • Creating project reports to communicate status to key client stakeholders and Integration Services business functions.
  • Tracking project performance to meet expectations and timelines, managing risks and issues.
  • Managing the review process with the product organization and coordinating responses to clients.
  • Identifying, customizing, and implementing appropriate applications and solutions for external clients, ensuring their expectations are met.
  • Analyzing client needs and participating in the design of business process requirements.
  • Testing, documenting, and training client personnel on functional business applications software.


Requirements

  • Have an impressive technology or legal background.
  • Have familiarity with Generative AI, Microsoft products, including Windows Server, and Document Management Systems such as iManage and NetDocuments.
  • Have problem-solving skills to quickly mitigate challenges.
  • Be able to work independently or as part of a cross-functional team, collaborating with sales, product, and support teams.
  • Have great time management skills to meet frequent and possibly conflicting deadlines and work schedules.
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills, including listening carefully, ability to explain difficult information, influencing and networking with internal colleagues and external clients.
  • Awareness of the competition and factors that differentiate the company in the market.
  • Ability to occasionally lead the work of small project teams and provide informal guidance to junior staff.

Salary:

The base salary range for this position is $80k with a 10% annual bonus

The salary range provided in this posting is the base salary range for Washington DC:$88,900.00 - $148,000.00
