The Business Operations Danaher Business Systems (DBS) Leader is responsible for leading, promoting and facilitating the successful implementation of the Danaher Business System (DBS) within Cytiva Business Operations functions, driving continuous improvement, operational excellence, and business transformation across the organization. You will serve as a key leader in deploying the Danaher Business System (DBS) tools and methodologies to enhance efficiency, growth, and overall business performance, allowing the Business Operations functions to meet their Policy Deployment (PD), Core Value Driver (CVD) and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets.

This position reports to the VP, DBS - Business Operations and is part of the Cytiva DBS organization located in Marlborough, USA and will be an onsite role.

What you will do:

  • DBS Implementation & Leadership: Champion and deploy DBS tools, principles, and methodologies to drive performance improvements in operational, commercial, and transactional processes.
  • Strategic Business Partnering: Work closely with senior leadership to identify and prioritize high-impact opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Kaizen Facilitation: Plan, lead, and facilitate kaizen events to optimize processes in areas such as manufacturing, supply chain, sales, and customer experience. Ensuring compliance to the kaizen process, including planning of kaizen events with a funnel review process tied to PD, CVDs and KPIs, kaizen event execution and sustainment of kaizens.
  • Drive DBS Fundamentals capability and culture into Business Operations functions through the DBS Fundamentals playbook assessment and subsequent DBS Plan.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure DBS adoption in alignment with corporate objectives and operational needs.
  • Best Practices & Standardization: Identify, document, and share best practices across the organization to drive consistency and efficiency.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent required.
  • 10+ years of experience in a lean manufacturing, supply chain, commercial or continuous improvement role within a global organization.
  • Demonstrated strong leadership, coaching, and facilitation skills with experience driving cultural change.
  • Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive results through DBS methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to travel > 50%

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Demonstrated commitment to DBS Fundamentals, holding a CP (Certified Practitioner) or ACP (Advanced Certified Practitioner) in VSM (Value Stream Map), TPI (Transactional Process Improvement), PSP (Problem Solving Process) or Daily Management.
