Job description

Information Technology – Remote (U.S. Based)

The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) is seeking an IT Project Coordinator to coordinate multiple projects within CBN’s web development business domain, utilizing the latest technologies/solutions for websites, mobile applications, and content management systems. Working under the direction of a Senior Project Manager, the Project Coordinator assists across the entire project lifecycle from feasibility to closure, contributing to the successful delivery of projects on time, within scope, and within budget.

Responsibilities include coordinating and directing the work of key performers in a matrixed environment through effective project planning and management, risk identification, change management, issue resolution, and communications. Additionally, the candidate will oversee key business processes including communication, change control, continuous integration/deployment, documentation management, knowledge management, and compliance. They will assist in developing solutions to process inefficiencies, redesigning processes to keep up with changes, and partnering with business teams to set process improvement goals and execution plans.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in Information Technology or relevant coursework
Knowledge of structured project management methodologies
Experience managing projects in a matrixed or team environment
System development lifecycle experience with both custom development and package integration; Agile leadership (e.g., Scrum/Kanban) is a strong plus
Exposure to Business Process Modeling practices and techniques
Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to develop strong working relationships with all levels of the organization
Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Ability to analyze complex problems and develop appropriate solutions under pressure
Experience with the introduction of new technologies and standards in an unstructured environment
Ability to conduct research into emerging technologies and IT practices
Working knowledge of digital media, consumer services, and non-profit fundraising business models preferred; experience with Internet/Web software is a strong plus
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Project Management, Engineering or a related field a strong plus
