SBA Healthcare Business Development Officer II

 

United Community is seeking a SBA Healthcare Business Development Officer II to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in generating SBA 7(a) loans specifically within the healthcare industry, including dental, veterinary, and medical sectors. Your responsibilities will include originating and funding loans nationwide, with annual production goals.

 

What You’ll Do: 

  • Generate new business through prospecting, outside calling, networking, attending conferences, and developing new referral sources.
  • Maintain and apply a thorough understanding of the bank's credit policy, SBA eligibility, and necessary business practices to ensure accurate and complete loan application submissions.
  • Achieve 100% of established annual production goals by year-end.
  • Generate loans that maintain an acceptable level of performance.
  • Assist special assets and credit services in any requested servicing action within the assigned marketing area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements For Success:

  • Bachelor's degree or successful industry experience.
  • Five years of outside sales experience within the healthcare industry.
  • Industry vertical experience (dental, veterinary, medical).
  • Thorough knowledge of current SBA SOP, regulations, and practices.
  • Proficient administrative and technical skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word and Excel).
  • Extensive BDO experience in the industry vertical.
