Job Description:-
• Minimum 12 years of experience in SRE who has a DevOps background. This resource will be a hands on Architect.
• Client will evaluate on the following o Years of Experience
o Soft Skills
o Situational Skills
o SRE Principles
o During the interview they will ask them to code with their primary coding background.
• AWS is a must from Cloud perspective
• Agile methodologies , JIRA for task tracking, Budget, and Resource Planning , and ITSM tools like ServiceNow.
• Documentation tools like Confluence and SharePoint, and communication skills.
• SRE Chaos/Resiliency Engineering-Primer, SRE Monitoring and Observability-Primer, and SRE skill knowledge like capacity, SLA, and monitoring.
• Cloud Concepts (AWS, Azure, or GCP), Kubernetes, Docker, cloud-native technologies, and moderate technical knowledge. Mainly looking at AWS.
• Linux/Unix, any programming/scripting languages, Terraform, Ansible, and some skills to write a 5-line code or even sudo code.
• APM/Monitoring tools ( Grafana, Splunk, Datadog), databases, and the ability to understand systems (Not a must but if they have as many of these as possible).
