Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with proven experience in fundraising and a strong command of financial strategy, operational leadership, and revenue generation. The ideal candidate will be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a demonstrated ability to manage the company’s finances, lead capital raising initiatives, and catalyse teams toward high-impact growth.

Key Responsibilities:
📊 Financial Leadership & Strategy
  • Oversee all financial planning, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Ensure financial compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.
  • Optimise capital structure and develop strategies for sustainable growth.
  • Manage risk, liquidity, and financial controls.

💰 Fundraising & Investor Relations
  • Lead fundraising efforts, including equity, debt, and alternative financing rounds.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, VCs, financial institutions, and stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present financial models, pitch decks, and performance reports to potential investors.
🚀 Revenue Growth & Sales Strategy
  • Partner with operations and sales teams to design and execute revenue acceleration plans.
  • Identify opportunities to optimise pricing, customer acquisition, and market expansion.
  • Implement KPIs and performance tracking systems to improve revenue performance.
🏢 Operational & Team Leadership
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration between finance, operations, and business development.
  • Mentor and manage finance and operational staff.
  • Lead company-wide initiatives aimed at efficiency, cost control, and scaling.
Qualifications:
  • CPA Certification (Required)
  • Proven experience in fundraising, preferably in venture-backed or growth-stage companies.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in financial leadership roles, including CFO or senior finance executive.
  • Experience in scaling companies within fintech, SaaS, or technology-driven industries is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, compliance, and US regulatory financial environments.
  • Demonstrated track record of driving revenue growth and operational excellence.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
