Guild is hiring for a Senior NetSuite Engineer. As a Senior NetSuite Engineer, you will strengthen Guild’s operational and platform infrastructure by developing robust tooling and ERP integrations. You will also partner with the NetSuite systems architect on the development of Guild’s ERP system and applications in the finance tech stack, including integration with the payments platform and other financial and business systems. Reporting to the Director of Business Systems, the Senior NetSuite Engineer will play a critical role in administering, supporting, and configuring Guild’s accounting and financial systems. The position will work with various levels of management and stakeholders to closely align NetSuite and other financial systems with Guild’s business goals. You will work with the business to gain a quick understanding of new process areas and/or technologies and drive success out of unstructured challenges

Key responsibilities

  • System Configuration and Process Design: Evaluate business processes and design efficient, scalable and secure solutions to solve business obstacles. Design NetSuite and other financial applications to meet business requirements through configuration, workflows, custom scripting and development.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand requirements and balance priorities. Work with partners across the organization to solve data and technical issues.
  • Continuous Improvement: Monitor system performance and optimize as needed; stay informed about industry trends, best practices and new system features. Plan, review, and manage configurations, enhancements, and customizations of NetSuite and other financial applications as needed in order to meet evolving business needs.
  • Integration Management: Design, build, and maintain integrations between NetSuite and other business systems to ensure seamless data flow, optimized processes, and enhanced system functionality. Monitor and optimize existing data flows.
  • System Controls and Security: Ensure compliance with identified IT general controls (ITGCs) and support audits. Maintain confidentiality to ensure data integrity, confidentiality, and availability.
  • System Support and User Enablement: Provide internal, ongoing system/technical support and training to NetSuite users, while consistently working toward standard methodologies and process improvements.
  • Documentation and Policies: Create and maintain documentation of the system and business processes. Develop, document, and implement policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure data integrity, change protocols, customization, usage, etc. Participate in peer code review.

Required Proficiencies

  • 10+ years of relevant professional experience with dynamically increasing responsibility
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, SuiteScript, and SQL for NetSuite customizations
  • Experience working in the tech/software (SaaS) industry with a main focus on supporting the Accounting and Finance functions
  • Experience configuring NetSuite to support SOX compliance and deep knowledge of segregation of duties
  • Experience building processes using NetSuite workflows, custom records, SuiteScript, and API integrations
  • Experience with Celigo and other common integration tools
  • Certified NetSuite Administrator
  • Experience administering Stripe
  • Experience with Adaptive Insights or other financial systems.
  • Eager to learn new technologies and solve problems
  • Proven interpersonal skills and ability to work both independently and cross-functionally, lead multiple projects, and prioritize workload to meet deadlines
  • Superb communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with all organization levels and team members in multiple locations and time zones

We are committed to equal pay for equal work and believe in compensation transparency. All salary ranges are standardized nationwide and will not vary by region. This role offers a competitive total compensation package, including a salary of $145,000-$173,000 and stock options. Compensation offered will be based on a combination of factors such as experience, competencies, and internal equity.
