As our new Outside Sales Representative in Denver, Colorado, you’ll be the face of Phillip Jeffries to the Interior Design community — building relationships, inspiring creativity, and driving growth. We’re looking for a self-starter who’s not only passionate about design, but also brings a strong network of industry influencers and decision-makers to the table. You’ll report directly to our Denver Showroom Manager and work in close collaboration to elevate the brand and bring beautiful spaces to life.
From showroom to studio visits, your day-to-day will be full of meaningful moments — here’s what you’ll be doing:
Selling:
- Be a PJ ambassador and GROW Residential business in the territory of Denver, CO territory.
- Manage sales through existing Phillip Jeffries clients.
- Create and close sales; follow up on all client and project leads and turn quotes into orders.
- Schedule product presentations for both new collections as well as existing product.
- Educate clients on our website, binders and values.
- Provide sample and book tools to clients.
- Update and maintain PJ presence in client libraries'
- Consistently follow up with clients on all projects samples, CFA's, quotes and orders.
- Interact with support staff in determining territory needs and to keep a pulse on the order pipeline.
Prospecting and Lead Generation:
- Exceed weekly/monthly High Performing Activities (HPA) and sales goals.
- Utilize social media to create leads and grow relationships with clients.
- Increasing clientele base by actively seeking out new business prospects
- Get involved in industry events, specifically networking opportunities within architectural/interior design community.
- Represent and sell Phillip Jeffries at local industry trade events and possibly regional trade shows.
Administrative and Operational Support:
- Create weekly call reports.
- Generate monthly synopsis of territory
- Maintain and update a Focus 40 client list.
- Interacting with NJ support staff to determine territory needs
- Provide account updates for direct marketing programs.
- Keep a consistent pulse on order pipeline
- Maintain client relationships and expressing gratitude through handwritten notes & other thoughtful gestures
- Be a CRM expert; communicate client reaction and needs, and keep account information up to date.
- Enter all relevant account activities in a timely manner into our CRM system.
- Host weekly meeting with sales support assigned to your territory.
- Record, manage, and submit expenses on a monthly basis
What You Bring to the Table:
- Local Expertise: You’re based in the Denver, Colorado area and have an insider’s understanding of the local design scene.
- Industry Experience: You have 4+ years of experience in sales, interior design, or a related field—and you know how to build lasting client relationships.
- Willingness to Travel: You’re open to occasional travel for tradeshows, events at our headquarters, and other key brand moments.
- Tech-Savvy: You’re comfortable navigating ERP and CRM systems and use technology to stay organized and efficient.
- Home Base Ready: You’re equipped to work from a home office and stay connected on the go.
- Reliable Wheels: You have dependable transportation with space to carry sales materials and samples.
- Customer-Focused: You deliver exceptional service, respond quickly, and always keep the client experience front and center.
- Positive Energy: You bring an upbeat, can-do attitude to everything you do—because passion is contagious.
- Digitally Confident: You’re social media savvy and know how to represent a premium brand online.
- Team-Oriented: You’re a collaborative team player who values connection, communication, and shared wins.

- Tech Proficiency: You’re comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite to support your daily workflow.
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but we’re most interested in your skills, passion, and experience.

Compensation Benefits:
- Current base salary ranges from $65,000 to $75,000 (annually), based on interiors industry experience
- Generous Tiered Commission program with uncapped potential earnings
