Position Overview
The Tax Accounting Manager position is a new role within the Kimball Electronics Shared Services Tax team focused on supporting the accounting for federal, international, state and local taxes. This position could be located at Kimball Electronics Headquarters in Jasper, IN or remote and reports to the Director of Corporate Tax. It is a global position that will be responsible for ensuring the accounting for taxes are completed accurately, timely and in compliance with financial and accounting principles.
Quick Summary
Tax Accounting Manager key responsibilities include ensuring the accounting for taxes in the financial statements are in compliance with accounting principles, such as IFRS and GAAP, assisting with preparation and review of monthly, quarterly and annual income tax provisions, research and advising on new tax laws, rules and regulations and continuous improvement of tax accounting processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
To be successful, our new team member must be self-motivated, results-driven, deadline-oriented, innovative and collaborative with the ability to think creatively at a global level. The ability to work and communicate with a variety of cultures, languages, situations, departments, and people is a critical skill for this role. The goal is to support, grow, and continuously improve our tax accounting processes for the organization. This requires a willingness to support and promote change, as well as a great deal of patience, critical thinking, attention to detail and problem solving skills.
