Job description

About Avra

Avra is a deep tech data intelligence platform powered by foundational AI that translates the complexity of SMEs into strategic decisions for large enterprises. We develop our own foundational models from the ground up—without relying on third-party solutions—to deliver innovative insights that empower some of the leading banks and fintechs across Latin America. Founded in 2024 by Bruno Alano (ex-OpenAI) and Viviane Meister, our team brings together expertise from NVIDIA, Palantir, Google, and more to drive real impact.

About the Role

As a Full Stack Engineer at Avra, you will play a key role in designing and implementing our end-to-end platform. Collaborating closely with our founders and multidisciplinary teams, you will build scalable web interfaces and robust backend services that seamlessly integrate with our proprietary AI and data pipelines. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on high-impact projects in a deep tech startup setting.

Responsibilities
  • End-to-End Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and backend APIs that power our data intelligence solutions.

  • Cloud Infrastructure: Architect and optimize components across our multi-cloud environment (AWS and GCP) to ensure reliable deployment and performance.

  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with data engineers, data scientists, and product teams to integrate advanced AI models and data workflows into the platform.

  • Quality & CI/CD: Implement and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and code quality practices.

  • Technical Ownership: Lead projects from concept through deployment, ensuring technical solutions align with business needs and strategic goals.

You Stand Out If
  • You excel in dynamic, fast-paced environments and take pride in building high-quality, scalable systems.

  • You have hands-on experience with modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue) as well as backend technologies (Node.js, Python, Go, etc.).

  • You have a proven track record working with cloud infrastructures and containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.

  • You are proactive, detail-oriented, and thrive in collaborative, cross-functional teams.

  • You are interested in deep tech and enjoy tackling complex challenges with innovative solutions.

Qualifications
  • Experience: 3-5+ years in full stack software development, with a portfolio of impactful projects.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in modern web development frameworks, server-side programming, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP), and CI/CD methodologies.

  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.

  • Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote, multicultural team environment.

Why Join Avra?
  • Competitive Compensation: Attractive salary, equity participation, and full transparency in our compensation structure.

  • Direct Impact: Work closely with the founders to shape the technical vision of a cutting-edge deep tech startup.

  • Challenging Environment: Engage in real technical challenges while building robust, innovative systems that drive strategic decisions for large enterprises.

  • Flexible Work Culture: Enjoy the benefits of 100% remote work with access to an office in São Paulo, unlimited vacation, and a comprehensive benefits package including a national health plan and generous parental leave.

If you are committed to engineering excellence and ready to contribute to a platform that redefines data intelligence for large-scale decision-making, we’d love to hear from you. Apply now to join Avra and help drive the future of AI-powered insights in Latin America.
