The Content teams report to the Chief Content Officer and have strategy, product management, content operations and support responsibilities for each Content vertical. We have been experiencing a rapid growth cycle across all content sets, including the Broker Research team. We value and uphold transparency, trust and accountability in our relationships within the team and with external and internal stakeholders.

About The Role

We’re looking for an Associate Product Manager who’s deeply curious, self-motivated, and comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast-paced work environment. The ideal candidate is not only capable of high-level product thinking but also willing to dig into the details – whether that means tightening a user story, refining a PRD, rolling up their sleeves to learn more about content or technology, or investigating edge cases others might overlook.

You’ll contribute to the development of new products and features on the AlphaSense platform, collaborating closely with engineering, design, and other cross-functional teams. This is a hands-on role suited for someone who’s technical enough to work directly with APIs and data, and product-minded enough to advocate for the user and shape strategy.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with engineering, design, and business stakeholders to define and deliver new features and product offerings.
  • Write clear, detailed product specs and user stories, with attention to both the smallest of details and broader context.
  • Work directly with APIs to understand system behavior and inform product decisions (Python a plus).
  • Apply Agile methodologies to manage the product development lifecycle from concept to launch.
  • Conduct user research, analyze data, and synthesize insights to guide product priorities.
  • Define and maintain the product roadmap and backlog in close collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Monitor product performance, identify areas for improvement, and propose solutions based on evidence.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2+ years of product management or related experience, ideally in a technical or platform-oriented environment.
  • Strong written communication skills, with an ability to document requirements and user scenarios clearly.
  • Demonstrated ability to self-direct and move work forward in ambiguous or fast-changing contexts.
  • Experience working with APIs, SQL, and technical teams; familiarity with Python is preferred.
  • Experience working with Financial Content Sets/Financial Data
  • Comfortable managing tradeoffs, making data-informed decisions, and pushing for clarity when requirements are vague.
  • Familiarity with Agile practices and tools like JIRA, Asana, or similar.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail – particularly when defining edge cases or mapping out product logic.
  • Experience building 0–1 products or features is a plus.

For base compensation, we set standard ranges for all US-based roles based on function and level benchmarked against similar stage growth companies and internal comparables. In order to be compliant with local legislation, as well as to provide greater transparency to candidates, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of desired hiring location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience/expertise and may vary from the amounts listed below.

You may also be offered a performance-based bonus, equity, and a generous benefits program.
