Intern, Medical Communications, Client Solutions

 

What You’ll Do

As our Client Solutions Intern, you will have an opportunity for experiential learning in a corporate environment within the medical communications industry. This is a meaningful, mutually beneficial program where you can bring innovation and ambition that will help us reach our goals. You will leave our program with an expanded knowledge base and real-world experience.

 

A Day in the Life

  • Create process workflows in alignment with departmental and client objectives
  • Create visual stories in PowerPoint
  • Support written initiatives and communications
  • Support Directors and Vice Presidents in continued process improvement
  • Assist in creating and advancing “stories” within client services through communication that increase awareness of goals, priorities, and critical initiatives
  • Perform administrative work as needed
  • Other duties may be assigned to help drive deliverables within this role

 

What You Must Have

  • Enrolled in an accredited college/university and pursuing a degree in Business, Science, Communications or English.
  • Availability to work 20 hours/week for 8 to 12 weeks from May/June to August/September
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Adobe, WebEx (or similar systems)
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, virtual work environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills including the ability to analyze information skillfully, develop alternative solutions, and work well in group problem solving solutions
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to meet tight deadlines, and commitment to quality

 

What You Might Have, but isn’t required

  • Basic knowledge of the Medical Communications industry

 

The Team You’ll Work Closest With

You will work closely with the VP of Client Solutions as well as other department members as you work toward achieving company goals.
