- Ability to understand business requirement and convert it into performance needs including end user transactions management and workload.
- Work with business / IT team in defining NFRs for baseline, full load, Stress/ Volume / Peak
- Good Knowledge on any of the programming Skills (Java & Python Preferred)
- Hands on experience conducting different performance test types including Endurance, Load, stress testing.
- Experience on open source performance testing tools such as Jmeter is highly desirable
- Experience Load runner true-client protocol, Load runner web socket protocol, Handling dynamic ports using any load generation tool
- Expertise with Application performance monitoring tools like Dynatrace, New Relic, CloudWatch, AppInsights ( at least one classical APM, one cloud specific APM )
- Experience in analysing load test results and finding performance bottlenecks
- Ability to monitor test environment and to be able to extract meaningful monitoring data to aid in load test runs.
- Expertise in understanding various components that comprise a test/production environment (Web/App/Database/Content tiers), Firewalls, Load Balancers, Global Load Balancers etc.
- Provide assistance in capacity planning and work in conjunction with SREs, dev and IT teams.
- Experience in onboarding performance tests into continuous integration mode, by working with devops teams. Experience on devops concepts is good to have.
- Experience in performance testing and evaluation of applications hosted on AWS.
- Any scripting languages like Python, Java and shell scripting is Mandatory
- Docker knowledge (Containerization)
- Expertise in designing load patterns by understanding the production workload and business demand.
- Building performance engineering frameworks and accelerators to help find performance issues early on in the product development lifecycle.
- Experience in hardware and software capacity planning and management is added advantage.
Good team player and a go-getter. Ability to mentor junior engineers in the team/across Org.
