Position Overview:
Reporting to the Business Process Optimization Manager, this role combines analytical and execution skill sets to optimize critical business processes across the organization. By leveraging data-driven insights, process redesign and automation, this role plays a strategic part in enhancing how Compugen delivers products and services against margins. This role will focus on improving transparency, identifying inefficiencies, and streamlining workflows across services, operations, sales, and logistics.
As part of the process improvement team, this role will apply a range of methodologies to modernize legacy workflows. This role will collaborate with business stakeholders to diagnose pain points, design solutions, and implement sustainable improvements that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer experience. Collaborating with business process owners will ensure that process improvements are effectively implemented and continuously refined based on performance metrics and feedback.
Key Responsibilities: Business Process Analysis & Optimization
- Conduct in-depth analysis of existing workflows to surface data necessary to generate meaningful real-time reporting on business performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to redesign, test and implement optimized workflows
- Offer compelling commentary to stakeholders on findings and recommendations
Reporting
- Clean, structure and analyze datasets to observe current state performance and derive actionable process improvements
- Develop and iterate dashboards using PowerBI to tightly track process performance and KPIs
- Train business owners on the value of persistent attention to process performance
ERP and Operational Implications
- Continuously refine expertise on JD Edwards processes, particularly in
- Order Management, Service Delivery, Inventory Management, Procurement and Supply Chain, Finance and Billing.
- Work closely with business teams to ensure ERP functionality is utilized and aligned with process improvement initiatives
Other:
- Contribute to documentation of workflows and reporting according to best practices
- Engage and develop working relationships with business unit business analysts
- Participate in training of Compugen staff
- Preparation of regular tracking documentation on progress
- Assess and select appropriate AI tools, frameworks and methodologies where appropriate
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in process improvement, business analysis, or operations optimization within a mid-size or enterprise environment.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems in areas such as order management, inventory, procurement, or finance.
- Expertise in data collection, cleaning, transformation, and dashboarding
- Proficiency in automation tools (e.g., RPA, Power Automate, Python for data processing, or low-code solutions).
- Strong understanding of supply chain, sales operations, and finance.
- Ability to assess business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving inefficiencies.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present data-driven insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Change management and stakeholder engagement experience to drive process adoption across teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of AI/ML applications in business process automation.
