Browser Extension Engineer

As a Software Engineer on our cutting-edge cybersecurity product team, you’ll be at the forefront of building powerful and secure browser extensions used by Fortune 100 companies to protect their most sensitive data. We’re looking for an engineer who brings deep expertise in developing cross-platform browser extensions (desktop and mobile) and is excited to work on a product with global impact and real-time importance.

This is a high-impact role in a fast-paced environment, where small, agile teams ship mission-critical features used 24/7/365 by a large and growing user base.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain browser extensions for Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari (both desktop and mobile)

  • Implement security-focused features and follow industry best practices for extension development

  • Collaborate with backend, frontend, and security teams to integrate extensions with our broader infrastructure

  • Ensure optimal performance, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility

  • Review code, mentor peers, and contribute to robust technical documentation and standards

Qualifications

  • Proven experience developing browser extensions across multiple platforms (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari)

  • Hands-on experience with mobile browser extensions, especially Safari on iOS

  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS

  • Deep familiarity with browser extension APIs and their security models

  • Solid understanding of web security principles and common vulnerabilities

  • Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git

  • Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) for browser extensions
