Shift Schedule: 4 hours block between 9am and 5pm EST from Monday to Friday (5 days a week)

The Teaching Assistant at Kids Help Phone will work alongside their team to provide feedback to crisis responder trainees during their onboarding to help them develop crisis intervention skills and ensure reliable, consistent, and well-rounded support for continued volunteer success and texter well-being.

The Position
As a Teaching Assistant, your role is to work alongside a crisis responder coach to ensure that crisis responder trainees, volunteers from across Canada, receive high quality feedback in a timely way and that all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for texting services are met or exceeded.
What You'll do
● Grade a high volume of quizzes and activities in a standardized training
● Provide structured and customized feedback to support crisis responder trainees in their learning and development
● Provide input into training materials and program newsletters
● Participate in team meetings, projects and alignment on training materials and communications
What You'll Need
● Pursuing a degree or diploma in a social work or education-related field
● Experience learning or teaching in an online environment preferred
● Comfortable working independently and remotely
● Possess an acceptable "Vulnerable Person Sector Criminal Reference Check" prior to starting employment (can be conducted by the organization for successful candidates)
