About the role:

We're looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join our growing team and help shape the future of scientific communication. This is a high-impact role focused on building secure, scalable tools that power everything from AI-assisted visualizations to enterprise-level platform integrations.

In this role you’ll be:

• Collaborate with product, design, and data teams to build intuitive, scalable solutions.
• Own and evolve key components of our codebase across backend and frontend (70/30 split).
• Develop and refine seamless integrations with user workflows and external platforms.
• Enhance internal and external tooling for enterprise administration and data management.
• Contribute to creative problem-solving and rapid prototyping in a fast-paced environment.

About you:

• 7+ years of full-stack experience, with strong backend focus.
• Expertise in Node.js and modern JS frameworks (React, TypeScript).
• Experience with MongoDB/NoSQL and cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred).
• A builder mindset: fast, thoughtful, and quality-driven.
• Curiosity and excitement for applying AI in real-world products.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and ownership.

Base salary: $170k - $190k (flexible)
