Job description

Why Oviva?

Our goal is a healthier future for everyone. That's why we help people with weight-related illnesses through the most accessible and effective therapy.

We offer digital programmes designed to support people with weight-related conditions, including obesity, prediabetes, type 2 diabetes, and hypertension. While weight loss is the main goal for many of the people we support, our approach isn't just about the numbers on the scales – it's about improving your health, self-confidence, and quality of life.

Our proven strategy has helped us become award-winning and the largest digital health provider treating diet-related conditions in Europe. We operate within the healthcare systems to give people access to the medical care they need. We are rapidly expanding across Europe, including the UK, Switzerland, Germany and now Poland. You will be joining an organization that has treated almost 1 million people to date and is continuing to scale up.

To further scale our growing business, we are looking for a Health Coach, based in the UK. This is a remote opportunity.

The role

The aim of a Health Coach is to work as part of our Tier 3 clinical and coaching team to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care within our Tier 3 Weight Management programme. This role supports individuals with complex needs through a more intensive, multidisciplinary approach, empowering them to make sustainable lifestyle changes that lead to meaningful health outcomes.

As a coach, you will deliver high-quality, evidence-based care aligned with Oviva’s protocols, training, and clinical standards. You’ll provide patient-centred support tailored to individual needs, while working collaboratively to meet service referral targets and internal/external KPIs—including clinical outcomes, patient experience, and engagement metrics.

You’ll regularly share feedback to help improve our programmes and the Oviva Coaching System (OCS), and will have ongoing opportunities for development through monthly clinical supervision and training sessions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver one-to-one and group consultations via phone, video call, or in-person sessions, providing coaching support through the Oviva app for clients using Oviva’s UK services.

  • Apply expert knowledge in diet and nutrition to support patients with a range of evidence-based dietary approaches.

  • Guide patients to make positive, practical changes to their diet and lifestyle, primarily through remote support.

  • Support medically and psychologically complex patients, including those with multiple comorbidities.

  • Use behaviour change strategies and motivational interviewing techniques to guide patients throughout the duration of the programme.

  • Record attendance, patient satisfaction, and clinical outcomes, contributing to ongoing service evaluation and reporting.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical notes using Oviva’s secure electronic medical record system.

  • Handle sensitive data with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Complete all required Oviva training and stay informed on updates to programme processes.

  • Adhere to Information Governance and data protection regulations when handling patient information.

  • Manage clinical risk incidents, adverse events, and out-of-range readings safely, following Oviva’s protocols.

  • Follow Oviva’s Safeguarding and Incident policies at all times.

  • Work autonomously, appropriately managing clinical risk in day-to-day practice while seeking professional guidance when needed.
