Commercial Lead / Senior Regional Manager is responsible for developing and growing the Beauty & Home (B&H) sales in the US/Canada markets. With the focus on generating new business and a strong opportunity pipeline to meet NR/GP growth targets for the region and business.
Core Responsibilities:
- Set US/Canada sales strategy with focus on key global and regional accounts, expanding share of wallet, and developing a robust sales pipeline of opportunities to ensure a reliable stream of future growth for the business. Ensure regional strategy is aligned with Global B&H strategy.
- Deliver on the Beauty & Home business sales targets and goals for the region.
- Spearhead sales development (opportunity development and execution) of B&H “value-added” solutions to regional customers and prospects, including effective introduction of new products, technologies, and processes, to obtain new business for the B&H team.
- Manage sales and distribution team in US/Canada. Set goals and objectives for each annually and ensure NR/GP goals are met to deliver on regional business growth.
- Work with cross-functional teams (technical, marketing, supply chain and operations) to build and execute against B&H strategic growth initiatives for regional customers and prospects.
- Coordinate with planning, operations, and supply chain partners to ensure forecasts are confirmed and product availability is met.
- Manage and set pricing to meet GP targets for B&H products in the region.
- Negotiate pricing and contracts with customers to maximize our profitability and manage the development, accuracy, and delivery of those contracts.
- Manage direct accounts, building deep relationships with R&D, quality, marketing, and procurement to increase regional sales and meet volume, revenue, gross profit targets and specialty product growth.
- Identify customer/markets needs i.e. innovation opportunities. Work with marketing or R&D, ensure they are translated into new product development opportunities where appropriate.
- Develop and maintain a strong working knowledge of the B&H market and the competitive environment to facilitate business development efforts. Pro-actively provide market and competitive intelligence to appropriate internal teams.
- Work with global marketing, to actively participate in regional tradeshows to build customer intimacy and identify new business opportunities. Plan and implement targeted customer events and symposia as necessary.
- Performing administrative tasks such as budgeting, forecasting, call reports, monthly reports, price letters and expense reports. Updating the CRM (Salesforce.com) system with potential customer leads, activity, managing the opportunity pipeline, and capture market intelligence.
- Directing company resources to support sales efforts and promote customer satisfaction.
Qualified candidates will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or similar technical discipline, MBA a plus.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in B2B sales in the Personal Care and Home Care markets.
- Team player with an ability to lead cross-functional team activities and deliver results.
- Demonstrated ability to build and leverage strong relationships to generate sales & profitability.
- Proven record of growing revenue and managing financial dealings with customers.
- Proven negotiation skills and strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proven ability to navigate cross-functional organization and on different levels with influence.
- Developed presentation skills along with excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, and Power Point). Salesforce.com knowledge a benefit.
- Proven track record of managing and penetrating complex accounts and delivering results.
- Motivated, self-starting professional with a strong drive for results, and a strong closer.
- Think creatively and explore multiple possibilities for overcoming challenges.
- Outstanding written and oral communication, skilled at preparing and delivering both technical and business presentations to customers.
- Strong computer skills (MS Office Suite), Salesforce.com or other CRM experience preferred.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, versed in consultative sales techniques, focused on customer value creation.

Pay Range:
$120,800.00-$161,066.67 Annual
This pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data and applicable bargaining agreement (if any).
Incentive Compensation:
As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Ingredion Annual Incentive Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus.
